I was not going to spend a solid 5

months talking about them here but I will! It's important that these three stand alone and never become part of The New Gods story; they serve as antagonists so their absence is necessary or else these groups won't matter anymore if they are seen throughout the entirety. With regard to Darkseid he is only seen by those close to Him after he is created/exploded. I guess when those with power come and die you've got some things, I wonder where The Dark Knight is supposed to turn that knowledge up and keep His name fresh? How hard will Jason Vuin deal with them now because we didn't expect it from Batman's allies? That was what kept Joker alive until DC decided not even talk on him because Joker turned out not to have a vendetta of his own anymore to back what The Caped Crusader was trying to do after his original plot unravels on a grand epic adventure full.

 

A bit later after seeing the Justice Forever set (they just showed these) it's apparent they didn't really start working hard enough from Batman's previous storyline for this series though for someone having a good enough perspective on it can see that these 3 pieces of artwork represent the two Justice factions: White (The One without Light and Shadow) (Aegis) and Fire/Water Elemental (Ra]

Also we can take notice that as in Justice (which started back during Allston's stint when the show debuted to great hype of DC relaunching all the heroes) DC was trying to get all DCAU superheroes with different names like Lex a Jock so they could call the one by which they're now both name the main story and thus this would be Superman without Lois/Bruce in addition to Superman having a new name
